Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Layrix platform, including the LLLL compliance analysis skill, LLLL Guard CLI, Human Expert Review service, Layrix Academy, and the website at layrix.ai (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Caerus Enterprises Inc. ("Layrix", "we", "us", or "our"). This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service.
1. Purpose
Layrix provides compliance analysis tools designed to help development teams identify and address compliance gaps in AI-built software. This policy establishes guidelines for responsible use of the Service so that it remains reliable, trustworthy, and beneficial for all users.
2. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Service to:
- Generate fraudulent compliance reports. You must not use LLLL or Guard to create, alter, or fabricate compliance documentation intended to deceive regulators, auditors, customers, or any third party about the actual compliance posture of a software project.
- Misrepresent AI output as certified legal advice. You must not present LLLL-generated analysis as a certified legal opinion, as advice from a licensed attorney, or as an official compliance certification issued by a recognized authority. LLLL outputs are AI-generated diagnostics, not legal determinations.
- Extract or reverse-engineer compliance checklists for commercial redistribution. You must not systematically extract, scrape, reconstruct, or reverse-engineer the LLLL compliance checklist, scoring methodology, or rule definitions for the purpose of creating a competing product or commercially redistributing Layrix intellectual property.
- Systematically bypass security controls via Guard override. LLLL Guard provides override mechanisms for legitimate use cases where a flagged item has been reviewed and determined to be acceptable. You must not use Guard overrides to systematically bypass security controls, suppress legitimate findings without review, or circumvent compliance checks as a matter of routine practice.
- Interfere with Service operations. You must not attempt to disrupt, disable, or interfere with the operation of the Service, including the registration system, API endpoints, or website infrastructure.
- Violate applicable law. You must not use the Service in any manner that violates applicable federal, provincial, or local laws or regulations, including privacy legislation (PIPEDA, BC PIPA) and export control regulations.
3. LLLL Output Usage
LLLL generates AI-powered compliance analysis. When using or sharing LLLL outputs, you must adhere to the following guidelines:
- LLLL outputs are AI-generated diagnostics intended to assist compliance efforts. They must not be presented as certified legal opinions, formal compliance certifications, or attestations by a licensed professional.
- When sharing LLLL outputs with third parties — including in reports, proposals, or communications — you must include a clear disclaimer indicating that the analysis was generated by an AI tool and does not constitute legal advice.
- LLLL outputs should be reviewed by appropriately qualified personnel before being relied upon for material compliance decisions. The responsibility for compliance decisions rests with you, not with the tool.
- You may reference LLLL analysis in internal documentation and compliance workflows. You may not represent Layrix or LLLL as having endorsed, certified, or guaranteed the compliance status of your project.
4. Human Expert Review Service
The Human Expert Review service is subject to the following additional guidelines:
- Engagement terms. Each Human Expert Review engagement is governed by separate engagement terms provided at the time of the review request. You must agree to the applicable engagement terms before submitting review materials.
- Accurate information. You must provide accurate and complete information in review requests. Providing deliberately misleading or incomplete information may result in inaccurate review results and constitutes a violation of this AUP.
- Professional conduct. Interactions with the Layrix review team must be conducted professionally. Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward reviewers will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the engagement and suspension of your account.
- Scope limitations. Human Expert Review covers the scope defined in the engagement terms. Requests outside the agreed scope require a separate engagement.
5. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us at info@layrix.ai. Include as much detail as possible to help us investigate the matter. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.
Reports may be submitted anonymously. We will not retaliate against anyone who reports a violation in good faith.
6. Enforcement
Layrix reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action in response to violations of this AUP, including but not limited to:
- Issuing a warning to the account holder.
- Temporarily suspending access to the Service.
- Permanently terminating the account and revoking access to the Service.
- Reporting violations to appropriate law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law or where the violation involves illegal activity.
The severity of the enforcement action will be proportionate to the nature and severity of the violation. Where practicable, we will provide notice before taking enforcement action, except in cases where immediate action is necessary to protect the Service or other users.
